At FasterCures, we are proud to offer BioBank Central as a source of cutting-edge information and news on this topic.  The site offers access to news stories and summaries of research made possible by biospecimens, and links to the best resources available about the topic.  We intend to keep this site fresh with new content so users can keep coming back and learning more. 

Biospecimens are often cited by the research community as the most critical of all issues.  With rapid and unfettered access to large quantities of high quality, clinically annotated biospecimens, researchers can conduct the genomics-based experiments that lead to discovery of biomarkers and new approaches to disease diagnosis and treatment.  Without such access, research is slow or disrupted.  Through BioBank Central, we want to link researchers with resources, encourage the donation of specimens, and educate the public about scientific advancements, thereby accelerating the discovery and development of new therapies.  We hope the portal will further our mission at FasterCures, to save lives by saving time.
